IMAGE: But despite any and all rhetoric from officials, viral footage on social media has demonstrated the severity of the incident in grisly detail — many have taken to Facebook and Twitter to post photos and videos showing passengers in the train bloodied and injured, while other images of broken windows and severely-dented compartments have painted a picture of just how impactful the collision was.

At 6:40 pm, one of the on-board controller on TR40 failed during service, causing the train to be taken out of service and sent to Subang depot for maintenance.
